This project involves designing a cohesive promotional campaign for Day by Nils Frahm, including a concert poster and a vinyl sleeve. Known for blending classical piano with ambient and electronic elements, Frahm creates atmospheric, introspective compositions that evoke stillness and reflection, guiding the visual system across all applications.

Three scanned compositions were blended digitally to build depth and atmosphere. A palette of blues reflects the album’s ambient soundscape, while layered textures echo the subtle noise and emotional undertones of the music.

The vinyl sleeve expands the concept through physical layering. The mark-making is screen-printed onto a transparent plastic outer sleeve, while the inner jacket is finished in a solid blue that mirrors the poster’s visual language. When assembled, the layers combine to recreate the full composition; when separated, they reveal individual elements of the design.

Together, the poster and vinyl form a unified system that translates the album’s introspective mood into a tactile and immersive visual experience.
