MycoBoutique is a Montréal-based retailer specializing in medicinal mushrooms, grow kits, and educational resources rooted in mycology and cultivation. Positioned at the intersection of food, science, and nature, the brand aims to make mushroom wellness approachable and accessible to both beginners and experienced enthusiasts.

The project focused on redesigning MycoBoutique’s identity to better reflect its values of accessibility, education, and connection to nature. The outcome needed to function across retail, educational, and digital applications while positioning the brand as both a trusted source of products and a hub for learning.

The approach centered on simplifying the brand by shortening the name to Myco, creating a stronger and more flexible identity system. Custom mushroom-inspired typography, rounded forms, and a moss-green palette were used to create a visual language that feels natural, approachable, and contemporary while avoiding the sterile aesthetic often associated with wellness branding.

The final identity extends across packaging, stationery, signage, educational materials, merchandise, and digital platforms through a cohesive system built on clarity, warmth, and consistency. Structured layouts, restrained typography, and tactile visual elements create an approachable brand experience that balances professionalism with a strong connection to nature and discovery.
